Booking an appointment
In order to visit our archives in Rome, please book an appointment using the online system below. After you have booked a slot, you will be asked about the material you wish to see during your visit. There is a PDF catalogue at the bottom of this page to help focus your search.
On arrival
On arrival at the main entrance to the Venerable English College at Via di Monserrato, 45, please come into the Portineria and sign the register at the front desk. The person on duty there will then call the Archives Reading Room and a member of staff from the Archives will shortly thereafter come and meet you and escort you to the locker room and then to the Reading Room.

Before booking an appointment, please check our catalogue below to make sure the material you wish to consult is in our archives.
We are in the process of updating and digitising our catalogues. In the meantime have made a digital copy of a catalogue (produced in 1978) available to visitors.
